Danish Mission Visiting City Environment, Showing support for the Company’s Internationalization Strategy
On the afternoon of September 24, a six-member Danish delegation headed by Ms. Marie Louise, Minister Counsellor of the Danish Embassy in China, made a special trip to City Environment, aiming at promoting bilateral cooperation between Danish enterprises and Chinese counterparts. Zhang Xiaoyan, Vice President of Denmark Grundfos (China) and Huang Xinmin, deputy general manager of City Environment also attended the meeting.
Hongbing Zhu, chairman of City Environment welcomed the delegation and said that City Environment has long been cooperating with Danish companies. In 2019, City Environment introduced advanced grate technology from Denmark, thus improving the combustion efficiency and power generation efficiency of its domestic waste-to-energy projects. In addition, City Environment has carried out long-term cooperation with Grundfos (China) in more than 10 sewage treatment projects within the province. City Environment is willing to continue to cooperate with Denmark and other developed countries in Europe in fields of environmental protection to help the sustainable development of the world environment.
Minister counsellor Marie Louise expressed high recognition and support for the internationalization strategy of City Environment and introduced Denmark’s fruitful achievements in environmental protection. This year marks the seventieth anniversary of China-Denmark diplomatic relations. The two countries reached a comprehensive strategic partnership in 2008, agreeing to deepen cooperation in the fields of environment and climate, energy and ocean. Denmark has many first-class clean energy technologies and solutions to environmental problems. Cooperation between China and Denmark in such fields shows a promising prospect. Ms. Louise hoped that the two sides would strengthen the information exchange mechanism and form long-term stable ties.
